UP Rescue was founded to provide sanctuary to a small group of “unadoptable” dogs that were facing euthanasia due to complex behavioral and medical needs. After a needs based assessment, we expanded our mission to help keep pets in loving homes, actively support spay/neuter initiatives in the area, provide the community with guidance regarding training needs as well as other community resources.
